On 13 January 2016 the best European festivals were awarded at the prestigious European Festival Awards in Groningen, Netherlands. Three partners of cashless payment service provider Festipay were announced as the best of their respective categories. Untold Festival, which is held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, was named the Best Major Festival of 2015. Telekom VOLT Festival was announced as the winner of the Best Medium-Sized Festival category, while Sziget Festival received the award for the Best Line Up.
